How to make a mug mockup

  1. Upload your design. A single graphic, a quote or a photo works with "One side". A full sublimation template works with "Full wrap".
  2. Pick the mug. Choose 11 oz for the classic size or 15 oz for the taller version, then set the mug colour to match the blank you sell.
  3. Check every side. Rotate to the handle and the back to make sure nothing important is cut off.
  4. Download a transparent PNG for Etsy, Shopify, Amazon or WhatsApp catalogues.

Sublimation and print-on-demand suppliers usually work with these printable areas. Matching them keeps your design in proportion on the mug:

For a one-side design, a square graphic about 8 × 8 cm is the most common choice. It sits neatly on the side facing away from the handle, which is the side a right-handed drinker shows to everyone else.

Frequently asked questions

Which side faces the camera?

The centre of your design faces the front, with the handle on the right. Use the Handle and Back views to check the rest of a full wrap.

Can I change the mug colour?

Yes. The colour picker changes the glaze of the mug body, inside and handle. In one-side mode, unprinted areas take that colour too.

Can I show a black or coloured mug?

Pick any colour in the mug colour picker. Light designs with white text show well on dark mugs.

Is there a watermark?

No. Downloads are clean, with no watermark and no signup.

Does my photo get uploaded?

No. Your image is rendered by your own browser and stays on your device.
