How to make a laptop mockup
- Capture your screen. A browser screenshot at 1440 × 900 or 1920 × 1200 fits perfectly. Full-page screenshots also work: "Fill screen" shows the top section, just like a visitor would see first.
- Upload it and choose Fill or Show whole.
- Set the lid angle. Around 100–110° looks natural for a desk shot; open it wider for a top-down hero.
- Rotate and download. The Hero view is a classic three-quarter angle for landing pages and Behance covers.
Best screenshot sizes
| Capture | Size | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 16 : 10 window | 1440 × 900, 1920 × 1200, 2560 × 1600 | Fills the screen exactly |
| 16 : 9 window | 1920 × 1080 | Tiny crop at the bottom, or use Show whole |
| Full-page capture | 1440 × any height | Top of the page shown |
In Chrome, open DevTools, press Ctrl+Shift+P and run "Capture screenshot" for a clean capture of the visible page without browser bars.

Frequently asked questions
Which laptop brand is this?
None. It is a generic, logo-free laptop so the focus stays on your screen and you avoid trademark issues.
Can I close the lid further?
The lid opens from 90° (upright) to 135°. These are the angles that show the screen clearly; a nearly closed laptop would hide your design.
Why is the bottom of my screenshot cut off?
"Fill screen" crops whatever does not fit the 16 : 10 display, keeping the top. Choose "Show whole" to see the entire image.
Can I get a transparent PNG?
Keep the background on Transparent and click Download PNG.
Is my screenshot private?
Yes. It is rendered in your browser and never uploaded.
